Default Recommend a courier for UK to NZ?

Our application is just about ready to go but the range of couriers is bemusing.
Most offer 2-4 days (subject to....) but our recent experience with NZ Post is that international courier services can be very slow.
They must all use much the same infrastructure, that is customs clearance and international freight flights, but will some have an advantage?
For example do DHL, UPS and the like have their own planes?
[Although if they have more freight than planes this probably won't make much difference.]

Does anyone have a strong recommendation, or a "don't use"?

UPS and FedEx both have large fleets of planes, and frequently cross the Atlantic. I don't know whether there is enough business for either to fly their own planes to NZ every day, or if they contract capacity in the hold of a passenger service.

I'd say it's capacity on passenger too and therefore complete pot luck on arrival times as I find it varies from mega quick to quite slow, roll of the dice

I find that what slows it down is when it reaches NZ as there is no delivery every day.

Apparently FedEx flies an aircraft to NZ daily from Australia and weekly direct from the US, so I am certain that express courier documents will be in the cargo hold of a passenger plane. And if FedEx doesn't have a daily flight of their own aircraft other than from Australia, I'll eat my hat if UPS or DHL has a daily flight from anywhere other than Australia.
