Default Partnership Visa

My contract here in macau (China) runs out on the 31st May, under Macau law I have to leave the country within 10 days.

Our worry at the moment is, that we may be delayed in getting the partnership visa through for my Wife and Children and therefore will go over the 10th June.

My question is: If I get my Wife & Children over on a normal visitors visa, can we apply for a partnership & dependent visa once they are in New Zealand?

Many Thanks

yes they can you just have to have an outbound flight on a visitors visa. Please make sure you have all met the correct criteria to enable them to up lift the visa as it will save any problems
