Never heard of that but there is a mx BMI that they work to - think it is 35.

They measure both your BMI and waist. Even if your BMI is within normal limits is your waist measurement isnt it can be an issue. This is what it says in the Medical Examiner Handbook;

The medical examiner is expected to calculate the BMI for all applicants aged 18 years and older.
Measure the waist circumference of all applicants 18 years of age. With a tape measure, comfortably
measure the shortest circumference that is below the rib cage and above the umbilicus.
The medical examiner is to request fasting glucose and fasting lipids where BMI >35 or when
the waist circumference in applicants 18 years or over is greater than the following limits1:

men: ≥ 102cm, except Asian/Indian men: ≥ 90cm

women: ≥ 88cm, except Asian/Indian women: ≥ 80cm.

Hope that helps

and the reason they measure your waist is because if it is outside these sizes, they do a cholestrol test. That requires 12 hours of fasting...

So, here's what to do

Measure the waist(s) of all people going for the medicals. If any are outside these figures, that person/people should fast for about 10 hours before the medical. Tell the Panel Doctor this is what you have done and why (you realised you were outside the limits), and you will not have to return at a later date for the cholestrol test.

Hence the word "fasting" in the above post

It worked for one of us
