We arrived in Jan 12 with LTBV as we bought a franchise, so far doing fine,wife got a job and kids settled. Franchise very busy in a great area was def a good move. Buying a franchise is a good way to progress with business visa especially if you buy a franchise used to taking on immigrants as they have the business plan etc in place as ours did. Good luck

thanks for all that info, we havent deviated from the business plan at all just not quite got everything done in the two years that was intended meeting every target wasnt easy.
so you got out of the tourist industry as soon as you could, its quite hard dealing with the public as tourists i agree, we have 3 holiday cottages and you have to have a lot of patience not everyone is nice thats for sure.
again you have made me feel better about the whole process and i will be starting it all off this weekend.
