9 months of EOI waiting in the pool???
I heard that an online EOI can last only 6 months?
Does this mean that you actually submitted the EOI twice??

No. It means that their EOI was selected from the EOI pool within the 6 month EOI pool period.
Thereafter their EOI went for preliminary checking which can take any amount of time depending on the application. .
