Essential skills visa - Employment Role Change
Hi there
I am currently on a 3 year work visa through Essential skills where my Employer had to prove they had advertised the post for 2 years in NZ and could not fill the post.
A colleague has just retired after 10+ years and my Employer has advertised the post but got no applications!!!!
They have asked me to do additional duties to help out while they re-advertise the role but my work visa states I can only do my role (specifically says my job title)
What do I need to do to make sure Immigration are okay with me helping out the team doing additional duties on top of my existing role??
I am just about to apply for Residency but at the moment I need to give my boss an answer on the additional duties.
Thanks in advance

Re: Essential skills visa - Employment Role Change
give your local immigration office a call and ask them, sure it will be fine as you have proven to the company that you are a valued employee, but double check
