Default Checklist to bring my wife to NZ

Hi All..

Happy New Year...

I got married by last August 2015 and I would like to bring my wife from India.

Would be great if anyone help me with the list of documents required..

So far, I have marriage certificate,, photos, inviations, facebook posts.

Her medicals and PCC are done.

To be specific, I need the list of documents to prove genuine relationship..

Cheers
Vijay

Depends largely on YOUR status, and there is no magic checklist, see here for the NZIS FAQ covering this subject:

My husband supported my application. I haven't got my visa yet but it has been approved in principle. Everything you send them must be original and must be certified, ie stamped and signed by a solicitor or other official person.i sent various documents (voluntarily) non of them certified and that is why I haven't got my visa yet.i have been married for 32 years and the marriage certificate was not evidence enough to prove a genuine relationship! Fortunately because I'd read posts on this forum I knew that they would ask for more evidence so I anticipated this and sent them 4 year old joint bank statements (from 2009) however this was not enough and I was asked to request 5 year old bank statements from my bank and then when I received them, get them certified! I'm not sure where you stand with such a new relationship, all I can give you is my recent experience with the London office. I'm still waiting for my container, tomorrow, and then I can get these documents certified and posted to London and then get my visa.
