Birth Crertificate
Hello,
I am about to apply for EOI for Newzealand, but I have problem here, in Identity section
A8. Please provide your Birth Certificate number and the name of the issuing authority.
Birth Certificate number
Name of issuing authority
unfortunately I don't have any birth certificate, so what is the alternate for my birth certificate that I can mention there in Birth Certificate number?
Thanks

think you will need to supply your birth certificate. Just go and get a copy most can be ordered on line

Re: Birth Crertificate
I just confirmed and might take some time to get my birth certificate, can I apply for EOI without mentioning my birth certificate number ?
thanks.
thanks.

Better be sure before submitting the EOI though, as its probably better waiting if you need it in case the EOI is rejected, in which case I think you could lose the fee.
It only took 2 weeks for me to get my cert.

thank you JPA :-) It's worth waiting rather rushing for it.

If you complete the EOI without it you will likely see the difference in points or effect it has. I'd wait as others suggest as it will likely technically fail as an EOI (I would want it to)...

Re: Birth Crertificate
if you dont send all the relevant info they wont process it.
your about to embark on what could be a life changing process
take your time and get all the info they ask for, nobody likes it
when people cut corners cos they cant be arsed

Re: Birth Crertificate
Yes but EOIs are processed without docs being presented, only with the ITA do you have to submit anything. Id like to think leaving blanks for birth cert details would result in an automatic failure for the EOI as without id what point is there in the process....

Re: Birth Crertificate
if i remember correctly - in the top right hand corner of your online EOI you will see a small bar which tells you when the application is completed i think it will not let you submit it until it is 100%, hope this helps

Re: Birth Crertificate
Which one is the "Birth Certificate number?":
Is it:
A) Top left, "application number" (7 digit plus dash and another digit)
B) "QBDY" number (with 6 digit number after)
C) "NHS Number" (series of characters and some digits at the end)
or
D) Entry No. (usually a 2 or 3 digit number)
?
