Re: 11 March 2009 EOI Selected Club
Hi All, we also submitted our EOI on the 11th March, we were so suprised to get picked first time having 135 points and no job offer, knowing it can take up to six months.
We received a letter confirming we had been selected, postmarked Hong Kong! about a week ago, stating our case is now being handled by the London branch, my husband that day contacted London to ask 'what next' they stated it could take up to 3 months to do the checks before making a decision, if we had a job offer it would be weeks not months!
Good luck to all in the '11th March Club' we will be keeping our fingers crossed for one and all....

Wow, that's a lot of points. Do you have a job offer? I thought NZIS prioritised those.
For us, we definitely won't hear for a while yet. Next EWRB Board is 24th April, which is the earliest Rob will get his assessment. Heyho, keeping busy getting the house ready to sell!

Our EOI was pulled from the pool on March 11th and I checked the status online today and it has changed to "decision successful". We had no job offer and 145 points, if I remember correctly. We started the application when it looked like our Australian permanent residence application wouldn't be processed anytime soon.

Hi everyone from the 11 March club, well after an unsuccessful attemp at finding out any information from the NZ London branch who are handleing our case, we were told, without a job offer the first checks could take up to six months!!!! you can imagine our horror 6 months, but I decided to check late last night, and to my shock the status had changed, DECISION SUCCESSFUL, wow, so chuffed.
So my question is hows everyone one else from the 11 March pool doing?
And any advice on the next step?

Hi Mudplug
My bmi was under at 29 and my waist, well nurse who measured first time made me under then the doctor measured me again and made me 2cm over so am hoping mine does`nt effect our medical results by too much

Hi Ginny,
I was a little worried about the weight issues and the medicals, but have done lots of reading about what the docs look for, the only problem which seems to be a stumbling block is if your bmi is over 35, did you have an extra blood test? Ive heard that sometimes they require two?
Did the pannel doc give you any indication as to how the medicals went?
So'ooo nervous, sorry for all the questions
Emma
