Default Visiting Canada under Dual Intent / Intending Inland sponsorship - please read

There has been a recent case that could have an impact on anyone hoping to come to Canada as a visitor under dual intent or as an Inland applicant, without sufficient proof of both ties to their home Country and intent to leave at the end of their approved visit.

Many thanks for PMM for posting the info in this thread. If you are considering this, please read the case.

Certainly an interesting read and very important for people who are wanting to apply inland to consider.

Hurlabrick and I have updated the Dual Intent section of the wiki to give a bit more information and directly reference this case. Spousal Sponsorship-Canada : British Expat Wiki

Thanks so much for posting!
