Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
I know! Trouble is with the physical specs for the photo (like needing to be signed on back), I've been afraid that uploading would be considered filing an invalid document that had to be sent physically, thus giving them that excuse! But it's getting so near the date now and that's not changing to acknowledge the receipt (unlike my first filing where they were very fast on 'err, problem'), so probably will upload just to be belt & braces.

Hi team,
Hope everyone is well. Congratulations to everyone who's had good news over the past few weeks.
I am looking for some advice regarding this "Goods accompanying". Does anyone have any examples of how this form should look? Does it need to be down to individual pairs of socks or is it just big things like laptops / phones? I can't seem to find much info on this. Is it an official document or just a typed up list?
Cheers!

Passport and photo request yesterday!
I did include two passport photos (taken to specification) and a copy of my passport bio page, however, I guess there is no arguing and I'd better just suck it up.

There have been several recent reports of such requests for Brits - perhaps what they are now doing? Lets see how future reports go......
Spreadsheet updated

Yes, I know thanks. There is some duff data in the calculations with dates in 1899 that Schnookololy is trying to sort out.
Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
I think it's fixed. Not certain... looking ok for now but will keep an eye out if it breaks again...

Hi Hurla. The email states that if you are from a visa-exempt country please supply passport copy (I included this in the original bundle but never mind). Also required is a Canada Post paid return envelope and photos (.again, I sent these but just had them re-done). There is an Annex A form, which i think exists primarily to help them match the docs with the file.

Re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London
Hi all....
Like tweed_wearer I also got the email requesting copy of passport and two more photos, which I sent over last week. 'Decision Made' was updated online 10 days ago or so.
My question is, at this stage would it be accurate to assume that the decision has been positive? (I'm a first time poster and, for spreadsheet purposes, I was sponsored by my Canadian gf; application received Mississauga 5th September, she was confirmed as sponsor 25th October, processed through Ottawa; DM was updated January 13th?)
The reason I ask is that I'm currently in Canada for a visit. Having thought that the PR process would take much longer, I booked a flight to South America, leaving tomorrow.
If the decision is positive, then no problem – when the letter arrives I can get my girlfriend to mail it to a mutual friend in New York, and then when I come back from South America I can just drop by there first to pick it up. However if the decision is no, or if there is a problem with the application, it might not be wise to be out of the country.
So, to summarise my question: if I'm at the stage when the decision has been made and CIC are asking for a passport copy and photos, is it likely that I have been granted permanent residency?

Thanks for all the responses, I did think it likely to be approved but it's good to know others think the same.
We were living in London, UK when we applied for PR. Currently I'm visiting my girlfriend in Guelph, ON (she's doing a masters at the University of Guelph) but in April we're planning on moving to Toronto.

You could try calling the call centre (holding for 30 mins and) seeing if they will tell you.
