Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London

re: Timeline For Spousal Sponsorship via London & Inland
Joolschweetie,
More than anything I just wanted to share your frustrations regarding the whole process. We had been hoping to receive PPR notification any day to then have the request for a payment we had not made. Like yourself we triple checked everything and clicked into the 3 million pages of the web-site and still missed the info of this fee needing paid. Even worse is the chat about things being potentially held up for 2 months now!? Hopefully these timelines are not realistic and we will hear soon. This whole life on hold thing is no fun. Apologies for the rant.
I hope everything works out for you,
Thanks

It's so difficult, we have a house to sell, jobs and finances to tie up here and there is so much variation in people's processing times. I'm getting tired of having to 'touch wood' everytime someone asks us when/if we're moving to Canada (which is like every other conversation now!) Lol. I hope things will move swiftly for you guys too, I'll keep my fingers crossed. It's so good to have the support on here...
Thanks for the email advice Caleo, I sent them a quick email changing my details, some small part of me was glad to have a reason to be in contact with them. I don't know what my subconscious is thinking, like it's going to make them look at it or something.
Oh and it's nice to see a few people going to the Hamilton area, my OH is a proud Hamiltonian and we're going back (touch wood!) to Hamilton/Stoney Creek. Small world...

We are in the same situation. Our application arrived in London in early March, and nothing so far. It seems that the times that people wait are not at all consistent, so there is no way of knowing how long it's going to take. I hope you hear something soon!

Hi, hoping that someone who has recently got their PR from London can help. My application is in London at present. We got confirmation that my husband had been accepted as my sponsor in December. Online it states "decision made" on 26th February and that they'd get in touch with me to request my passport. It is almost May and we expected that if the application was processed in February, we would have heard by now. Is there anyone we can get in touch with incase anything has been lost in the mail/email?
Thanks in advance...
Thanks in advance...
No harm in checking with them though - the email to them is a bit hit and miss though - but worth trying!

3 months today waiting for RCMP results. They say can take up to 120 days so another month to go i guess.
Tempted just to go to Van again get fingerprints again.
But that would be a couple of hundred dollars i don't have.
Just more waiting.

That's great news! Hope your landing goes well - finally at the finishing post!
Tomhoney - I feel for you, you must be so frustrated!

120 days is for ink finger printing.
I'd take the hit and get it done again and complain.

Has anyone received their passport back from London recently?
I'm going on week 7 without getting the passport back... It arrived in London on March 21, 2011.

They received mine on April 12th (still haven't received) - it doesn't help that we've had a million bank holidays!!

I am still waiting too.....quite relaxed about it, mainly because I am thankful we did not go ahead and book our landing flights for later this month - I would have been in a mad panic if we had not decided to delay it till a bit later this year

After that they put the visa in it and send/give it back, then its just the landing part you have to go through before your husbands medical expires.

oooh, it's been a few weeks since I've logged on, so out of touch with everyone, sorry! We've finally got the house on the market, been such a lot of work to get it to that stage. I've mastered the process for getting my daughter into school in Richmond Hill, Toronto, so happy about that. Just the good old wait on the application. Funny thing is that since I got the letter approving sponsorship, I noticed the online system shows that my application for PR has been received, as well as Medicals, however, haven't received any letter to confirm that. That was end of March, are we supposed to receive a letter? I suppose I can waiting anything from another 2-3 months for the next communication? We have a hol in the US in June, so need my passport for that and we sent an email to tell them that, but haven't heard back, guess that would be a miracle if we did any time soon from what all are saying....
I'm so glad, my daughter's Canadian passport has now arrived and so her process for this whole thing has been fortunately and unbelievably quick and painless, so there is hope for others out there...... x
