temp work permit
I have been told that whilst i am waiting for my spousal visa to come through i can be granted a temporary work visa, is there truth in this? i will be moving to canada on the 30th of this month.

Not sure how you aplied? We applied TWP with my hubby on an open work permit on the back of mine...ours came through together. Are you the primary applicant or is your partner/wife?

If the spousal application is being processed outside Canada, you can't apply for a WP. If you are able to get an approved LMO, you can apply outside Canada or at a Port of Entry if don't require either a TRV or a Medical.

Not too sure on the abbreviations what does LMO mean?- we have sent our app to Mississauga but i believe it then goes back to London.
