Have a look at this website (the official one, CIC), and then let us know what your exact score is. Bear in mind for French you need to be A level standard or above.
Selection factors: federal skilled workers
As you have a wife (you hadn't mentioned her before so I'd assumed you were a single applicant), that's good as it means you could have enough points if she takes the IELTS exam too.

OK, that sounds more like it! So you are eligible to enter the EE pool as a FSW which is good, but do definitely look at either a job offer or PNP to try and get your points up (assuming they were correct). Best of luck to you.
