Default Results of upfront medical for Canadian work permit

Hi, My husband is being sponsored by the provincial nominee program for BC. In order to get his work permit he just needs to turn up at the airport with his work permit support letter, which he already has, and an upfront medical. We have just had our upfront medicals done and both got a grading of B. The panel physician advised us that we should both pass but if there were any issues, we would be contacted for further investigations in 2 weeks' time.

What I would like to know is if there is any way of finding out if we passed the medical? Do the Canadian authorities send you a letter saying you passed, or is there any way of contacting them to find out? Since we don't have to apply for a visa through CIC, we cannot check the status of our medical through their system. I am reluctant to book my flights without having some form of confirmation that our medicals were ok. Please help!!!
