Please some experts answer following two queries:

Can an applicant get 5 marks for his spouse's real brother who is a permanent resident
in Canada?

What are requirements for getting 10 marks for arranged employment in Canada? Should the
employment offer be endorsed by some department?

Hi:

You will not be credited 5 points for your spouse's brother in Canada. You get 5 bonus
points as an assisted relative if you have a brother, sister, mother, father, grandparent,
aunt, uncle, niece or nephew living in Canada as a permanent resident or Canadian citizen.

"Arranged employment" refers to a job offer from an employer in Canada, validated or
approved by a Human Resource Center in Canada.

Wrong again!

The long established practice of immigration officers processing applications is to award
principal applicant with 5 bonus points if dependent spouse (accompanying principal
applicant to Canada) has a qualifying relative in Canada.

1. Yes

2. The employer would have to approach Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) and
prove that they have made a search for a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident for
the job and were unsuccessful. If HRDC is convinced (very hard) then they would
certify the position and the applicant would receive the points.

(1) you will get 5 bonus points if your spouse has a brother with a PR status or
Canadian citizen.

(2) Human Resources Development Canada (HRDC) must validate the employers request for
arranged employment in Canada.
