Qualifications for electrical engineers

Hello, I will soon apply for Canadian GC as an electrical engineer. I am currently
studying in one of US schools (reasonably well-known) and have some working experience.
From the FAQ, I saw that I have to get my qualifications assessed for immigration purposes
by the relevant accredition body (CCPE?). If possible, I would not like to delay the
process by another month or so. Will I have to get the evaluation from CCPE? If I do not,
will my application get rejected or delayed? If anyone has experience, plz let me know.
Thanks a lot in advance.

CCPE assessment is not mandatory, especially if one received degree from US school. But
your problem is that "some working experience" will not be enough. You must have at least
1 year of work experience in your intended occupation after graduation, otherwise your
application will be rejected without further consideration.
