Putting things all in one file
Hi all,
For the employer reference part, it wants everything in one file, reference, pay stubs, contract etc etc (more evidence the better).
Question though, how did people do this? Can it all just be placed inside one Zip file with each document named accordingly, or do you need to put each pay slip as a picture into a word document in order of date etc? Couldn't find any clarification on this on the CIC site.
Same applies for anything else where they want it all in one file.

Be careful when creating the pdfs that you are scanning as pdf and not images. If you have a collection of images that you then make a pdf the file sizes can end up being too large to upload to CIC.

I'm sure there are free online converters that would do it though.

Is everything being in one file the common thing to do? I have everything separated at the moment. Should it be one pdf for each job? I can do that now so I'm ready

What's the max file size?

Presumably you are using the online submission or will be. If so you have to upload different things in different places but you are only allowed one upload for each thing. For example you will upload evidence for each separate employment proof separately but everything for that one employment (letter, payslips, T4s) must be a single PDF file.

Ok, got it! I was wondering how that would work
