Default PNP vs FSW

Hi,

Sorry to be a pain. I was advised by a friend to try a PNP as my current role is not on the skills list for the FSW etc etc. However it appears that you still require a job offer to qualify for a PNP. So whats the difference in the PNP and the FSW.

Cheers,
Marc

That depends on the province (or territory)! So which PNP are you looking at?

To be honest, At present, We have only visited Ontario, and Torotno appeals to me more from a work point of view. But, We are hoping to visit a bit more of Canada throughout this year and next.

Each province has their own program, and each has various different streams under them, so it's a bit difficult to sum up given that you're probably talking around 50 possible visa routes!

Yes, most of them require a job offer, but there are other streams such as family sponsorship, business programs, etc.

It's really just another route to PR if you don't qualify for FSW, but you'll need to research each yourself to find out which you may be eligible for as they're all very different. Here you go.......http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigra.../apply-who.asp
