parents family class immigration time scales
I was wondering what the timeline for sponsoring your parents to come over on a family class visa and if there were differences in the time it takes for processing.
I have heard that there is different time scales for different countries.

1. At present the processing time for parents/grandparents at Mississauga is 41 months. The overseas processing ranges for 80% of those processed between 15 and 87 months. seea: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/informa...fc-parents.asp

My wife and myself have just gone through the process and it has taken 44 months from Mississauga receiving my son's application to sponsor us.(Iwas a young man then) That was the longest wait 3years,just sat here now waiting for the postman to drop our visa;a through the letterbox.Good luck and start the process asap.
