Newbie to Site - Advice Please
Hi All,
My Husband and I have been talking about this as we all do and am now looking into what is possible!
I am a 36yr old working for a large corporate law firm in London as a reconciliations team leader (bookkeeper by trade) I head up a team of 3 people.
I note that bookkeeper is on the BC occupation in demand list but where do I go from here? Do I have to post my CV somewhere in the hope that a prospective employer may pick up on it and contact me or I am starting off in the wrong place? Is there a demand for bookkeeper/Finance supervisors and if so which is the best business location for this?
Any advice would be very much appreciated.

Hello, Rocket, and welcome to the BE forum.
No, it is unlikely to do any good if you post your resume (Canadian version of CV) on a website, and hope that a prospective employer sees it.
Your best starting point is the series of Wiki articles on job hunting in Canada. In my opinion it is impossible to overemphasize the importance of their contents.

Thanks for this, I have also seen the name of Andrew Miller crop up quite a bit would it be worth contacting him (I understand he is a reputable agent) that appears alot on this site and has helped out others?
How long have you been in Canada?
