Medicals,RPRF,Passports done, any idea when I'll get the Visa?
Guys,
I am done with Medicals, RPFR and Passport submission one week back.
1- When I should hope to get visas, an approximately idea?
2- Getting passport request means I am already clear on Security Checks (which usually delays app for 2-3 months) or still I will undergo Security Checks?
3- My wife has a small issue of Lung "classification on small Lung tissue". Although DMP says its normal/old and not a clinical issue.
Does some one has idea, if DMP says its not an issue then still there are chances that CIC may raise this issue? just in case if yes, how much its going to delay my case?
Thanks for all of your replies.

I thought once they request passports that is a pretty good sign that everything is in order....they dont say "you have your visa" as they will check your passport against the application etc.....we only waited 3 weeks for the passports to be returned.
Given you only have 12 months from date of medical to land, they should not hold onto passport too long.....well thats what I imagine.
My wife had a heart murmur declared during medical and we got a letter stating more tests were needed....we submitted these and then the passport request arrived about 4 week after....hence they must have looked at results before requesting passports.
Fingers crossed for you.

Hi
CIC are notorious for requesting further tests on things that DMP's state are fine - so be prepared to receive requests for more tests.
However, if they do NOT request further tests it could still be a while before you receive PPR. It just depends how fast CIC are currently moving along.
Last year we had people who had meds completed in August, who only received requests late December. So delays do happen.

I believe there was someone from Pakistan who had a request fir further documents after getting their PPR , posting on here recently. I think their meds expired. The point is no one can say.
And my point about not bumping after 3 hours was perfectly valid , first of all it goes against the site rules , which you may want to read and secondly given the time differences involved between the UK and Canada you may well have to wait more than a couple of hours for a reply

Above your comments about PPR ( I assume you meant "Passport Request"), just to remind you that I already recieved passport request, it was all in one Medicals+RPRF+Passports and I have submitted all already. So, lets say if my medicals are okay, then only wait is for Stamping visa. Passports are already there.
Thanks again.

My comment had a valid point , it's Not unheard of for people to get document requests even after PPR.
