Same! I had a dream last night I rang service canada and they told me 28 weeks!! 28!! Weird dream lol!

I know of somebody who had to wait 30 weeks in real life before getting a positive LMO.

30 weeks jeez!! Well, the buyer of our buyer who is buying our house ( what a riddle!!!) pulled out yesterday, unbelievable as we were about to exchange....stress!! But in a way least we have roof over our head while were in limbo waiting but bills argh.

Yup same here. It's taking 8 weeks just to put names on an LMO nowadays, so I can't even begin to imagine how long it will take for the actual LMIAs.

Yes, 30 weeks and a few days to be exact. Right now, the employer contact center at Service Canada is backlogged with calls, presumably from impatient (and possibly irate) employers. This must mean that things are super-slow there.
