Landed - Easy peasy!
Hey all,
Landed in Halifax yesterday and it was a remarkably smooth process. Took about half an hour from start to finish and the immigration officers were really nice. I won't get into the nuts and bolts of it, but if anyone is landing in Halifax soon and has any questions they can drop me a line. I would agree with previous posters that having a goods to follow list printed out is a great idea, the IOs loved it!
Just waiting for the stupid PR card now! Exciting times.

Congrats on your landing Ice man and family.
We landed at Halifax almost exactly a year ago.
They were really nice there and we too found that they loved my spreadsheet GTF list.

Hello just arrived in this site and am currently due to leave for Halifax on 4th May with wife and two kids.We have a house rented already in Waverley as wife has managed to get job and are arriving with documents to gain wp at the airport.Have been in contact with immigration at Halifax and have assured us we can do this.Due to the time limits we are already ready to go with house sold last year.Has anyone done this
