IEC form - friends/family I will be visiting

IEC form - friends/family I will be visiting
Hi all
On the application kit there is a section asking for names of family or friends(i think it says friends too) that I will be visiting?
My family in canada is mainly 2nd cousins as in my moms cousins and their children, but i will be visiting and staying with them if the need be.
Do i need to put them down as there is not really anyway I could confirm they are relatives being that my mother and uncles were all born in india in the 50s
