I got my request for payment after about 20 minutes. So don't freak out people!
Trip to the bank tomorrow i think. You have 10 days in which to pay, well at least it tells me i have to pay by the 24/02/2013

For those waiting on the proof of payment message
"Q: At what point do I make a payment?
A: Payment is required as part of Stage 1. After you submit your initial application, you will receive a message through your IEC Kompass account containing the payment details within an hour. It has taken up to 2.5 hours for this message to be received so please be patient!"

2. When you submit your application they will send you details of how to pay to your My Messages box, and this is not instant.

Hey guys,
With the previous participation part, I participated in the 2009 initiative..does this need to be included? I went through BUNAC however I am pretty sure i was on a student holiday working visa..is this the same as the iec?

Just wait i think. I uploaded a screenshot to, because i far as i could see, it had all the details they needed (unless they r being REALLY picky). Interestingly i cant log back onto myCIC now..

everything is complete but when i click submit application it jumps to a random page from the canadian embassy website! I just want it submitted!!
