Default filling in immigration forms in PDF

I hope someone can help.

When filling out the forms (in particular IMM 5532E for the spousal visa) I am finding that there is not enough space within the boxes to include all the required information. For example on form IMM 5532 E Part A question 1 to include the "from" date for employment I need to put 2013-09 but there is only enough space to put 2013-0 (ie 6 digits). Similarly when I try to include the name, address and telephone number of the employer, there isn't enough space. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is there any fix to it (other than printing out the form and writing in the missing bits?)

Many thanks,

Hannah

What application do you have the PDF open in? Are you on a Mac or Windows based machine?

I had a play and I managed to re-create the problem you had / have.

The solution is:

1. Actually 'save' the pdf to a local drive (i.e. don't just try to fill in with the plugin in a browser).

2. Type your date as '201309'.

3. Then either press 'tab' or 'return' and it will be changed to '2013-09'.

This is what I just did a few moment ago and worked fine.
