Default FEES - International Experience Canada

Hello all, if you would not mind helping me out here if possible I have a quick question.

I have applied for the IEC programme now that I am able to at the age of 18. I received a checklist which included the fees in which I have to pay. But I came across 'Employer Compliance Fee' where an employer has to pay a $230 compliance fee in order to apply for a working permit. The problem is I do not have an employer and I won't be able to reach to employers for work until I arrive in the city I will be staying throughout the IEC programme.

If anyone knows any information about this, whether I need an employer? or anything else I would be most grateful.

Thanks, Callum.

Not applicable for the working holiday stream, that only applies to the co-op/young professionals stream. Check list will likely be a standard one across all the streams

Only fees you need to pay are the $155 for the work permit and the $100 open work permit processing fee.

It's $150 + $100 for IEC participation if you're applying for an Open Work Permit.

Technically speaking, an IEC WP is fee exempt: there is an IEC Participation Fee instead!
