Question Schedule A and Police Certificate

Hi

We have received a request from CPC-M for a Sched A and Police Certificate.

For the Sched A, the letter states that the PA and "all of your family members aged 18 or older (if applicable) must submit this form." and for the PC states "every family member (whether accompanying you to Canada or not) who is aged 18 or older. Please refer to your application guide for a definition of “family member”.

Having read Guide 5289, it is my understanding that - as Sponsor - I am not required to submit either of these, even though, as Common-Law partner, I am a family member.

Is my understanding correct?

SnA

The non-Canadian, and any non-Canadian dependents (partners and children) must do them. Canadians, whatever their relationship to the applicant, do not need to.
