Re: PNP Paperbased Timeline Equ Please Help
I submitted my PR back in March 2017 also through PNP (paper based)
Asked to link to my online profile Apr 2017
Then asked to pay RPRF fee a few weeks ago.
Still waiting on my medicals, I've got friends who applied via Express Entry after I submitted and receive their PR.
PNP is for the very patient -_-. 16 month span from what CIC have posted. It'd be hard to predict processing times if I'm quite honest.

Hi Guys am I correct in thinking if you are from a visa exempt country ie UK then you do not need to send your passport to be stamped you will be sent.
The reason I ask my sons wanting to travel to the UK for a few weeks and we were worried we would need to keep his passport to send off?

Re: PNP Paperbased Timeline Equ Please Help
I applied for my PR via PNP paper based application in February 2016. Got my AOR in March. Received request for RPRF in October 2016. Medicals in April 2017 and COPR in January 2018.
The 16 months IRCC post on their website is supposedly an average, so there must be some considerable variance in processing times.
Mine was what I considered to be a straightforward uncomplicated application.
I am aware of quite a few people who applied at the same time as myself whose processing times matched mine, so I think it is likely to be closer to the 24 month mark for many.
EE is definitely the way to go, if you score enough points without a provincial nomination.
I did not have to submit my passport, just a copy of the photo page.

Re: PNP Paperbased Timeline Equ Please Help
I sent my application in Nov 2017
Landed in Canada Nov 2017
AOR was January 2018
Medical request June 2018
We paid the permanent residency fees with the application at the outset
Slight complication with us as my daughter has a few health issues so we submitted initial medical and had to undertake 2 more specialist reports for her which have been submitted now so we wait further!
Our application was sent to Sydney then has been transferred across to London UK so I hope they are quicker turnaround there as would like it sorted for next spring/ summer if possible

So you are still in process? the "Landed" may confuse a few people! Unless you have received your COPR and been processed by CBSA in Canada at the border / airport or attended an Inland office of RCIC - had the COPR vaidated, signed, stamped etc., you have not Landed.
Landed is a specific term meaning you have validated your COPR and become a Permanent Resident... from the old term of "Landed Immigrant"
