eTA with criminal record. Not heard back and travelling soon

Re: eTA with criminal record. Not heard back and travelling soon
Begining to wish had never disclosed on USA ESTA app, offences are classed as C in U.K. so not serious, likelihood of being stopped was probably low but didn't want the anxiety of it all as if stopped would be a nightmare and being as disclosed on ESTA thought I better for the ETA
Rather than posting on such an old thread, you'd probably be better off starting your own thread so that more people see your questions.
Good luck.

any update on what happened on this?
I've travelled to a Canada twice in last 3 years (prior to ETA being introduced) just booked flights for 3 weeks time and realised need ETA failed auto approve due to yes on precious criminal offences/convictions over 15 years ago (minor offences). Have applied for ACRO today on premium service which ETA service has asked for but they also want copy of court judgement/disposition - I have no idea what this is? Any one have any ideas? Also has anyone any experience of timescale from initial ETA app to sending ACRO and approval - did you have to book an immigration appt - did they grant an ETA or a visa?
Had same problems with USA a few years back - failed ESTA - applied for ACRO - booked immigration appt and luckily got approved same day and passport was back with me 2 days later with a 10 year visa in it. That cut it fine but I have a feeling I won't be so lucky this time.

I have disclosed everything as per with US visa, not worth getting a travel ban just an anxious wait and I guess as ETA for Canada is fairly new process there isn't much in way of postings of experience on timescales etc or what a court disposition actually is 😬

A court disposition is the findings of the court in a case in its written form normally acquired by requesting a transcript of the case or using the the courts online proceedings that are posted as a public record. Note not all cases are found on the courts online record.

ACRO should be able to direct you as to how to apply for the court records. If you send them an email asking for the correct link they are usually responsive.

We did this before we applied for eTA and everyone else got automatic approval but we uploaded the rehab certificate and got the eTA through within 48 hours

That was only 7 working days ago, I'd imagine it's far too soon to expect to hear anything. If you've not heard in a month or so, then I'd chase it up just to check they've received it.
As above, this is an old thread, from last August, so please do start your own thread thx. I'll close this one now.
