Then nothing - my Adobe is up to date and I can't find a download link.

Is it opening the file in your web browser? I had the same issue when I tried to open it with Chrome. You need to right click the link and click "save link as..." and then make sure you open it with Adobe Reader not the embedded web browser Adobe plugin.

Thanks again - so I have managed to download it but it comes up with 6 pages of blank now and adobe telling me its password protected document grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

You need to uninstall Adobe Reader and reinstall it... you may also need to enable Javascipt - this is a common issue

You can also try (if you are using firefox) clicking in the top right and selecting 'open using a different viewer' and click on Adobe Reader DC.
