Change job before application(to immigration specialists)

Hello!
A friend of mine, who is about to apply for permanent residency in Canada wonders how the
fact that he is going to change company he works for would affect the application time and
his chances. He's got enough points and is working as software developer and has master's
degree in this field. The problem here as I see it might be when they call the contacts he
leaves at the embassy and they find out that he does not work at the old place. At the
same time he is not that well known at the new place.

Your friend will have no problem. He should state his old and new employers in the
immigration form.
