Default Change in family circumstances whilst awaiting AOR

Hi everyone,

We submitted our full docs to London in October and are awaiting AOR (please see our time line below).

However, my mother sadly and unexpectedly passed at the end of November. Do I inform the London VO now or is it best to wait until we receive our AOR which will have a different file number?

It is only myself, Graham and the children who are hoping to move.

Many thanks,

George

Sorry for your loss. You aren't required to inform CIC/CHC as it is not a change in the "family", i.e. those that are emigrating.

PMM,

Thank you for your sympathy and clarification - was unsure of what the background checks would entail and concerned for my father had he needed to be contacted by CIC in relation to my late mum.

Kind regards,

George
