Default Finalising PR Via Appointment with Immigration

After being told by CIC we could get an appointment in Calgary within 4 - 6 weeks we have been waiting and waiting, 6 weeks and nothing! we finally decided to arrange the road trip to flag pole and guess what the appointment email has now arrived but we will still need to wait until the end of June!!

My question is this if we wait and attend the appointment are we issued with our PR Cards at this appointment or do we have to still apply in the normal way??

The PR cards would be issued at a later date as CIC have to send the COPR form with the photo on to CPC Sydney who issue them. If you give CIC a Canadian mailing address then the PR cards are sent automatically no need to apply for the 1st one.
