Canada
Im not sure if this question has came up but couldnt for the life of me find it in the search bar, so sorry if it has been lol.
My partner has family in canada and we were thinking of moving there to live and work.
I know about the visas and sponsors.. but me and the other half atent married but we do have a child together. I was wondering if we could do the move together without the fuss of getting married just to go?? We both are 21, i work as a catering assistant in the NHS and the other half is stay at home mummy.
I know her family would be more than happy to sponsor us to go there, but my cant seem to find any information about if you have to be married to bring your other half with.
Thanks for any info
Also we have decided in new Brunswick we'll reside in. If it helps my partners uncle is an ICT teacher in a collage in new Brunswick.

Re: Canada
The good news is that "equivalent to married" works. The bad news is everything else about emigrating. I suppose someone with better knowledge and more tact will be along in due course.

Your bigger problem is that you haven't said how either of you qualify to emigrate to Canada. Have you looked into it at all? A family can normally only sponsor a very close relative (the most common categories are partner, and parents). An uncle can't just 'sponsor' their niece to move (unless NB has a very open family stream to their Provincial Nomination Programme?)

IEC is probably your best bet (to start with):
International Experience Canada – travel and work in Canada
