Brother as a sponsor
Hi All,
I am a 52 year old Will Writer/ hgv class 1 driver
Married and my wife is a teaching assistant.
My brother has been out in Torono for 5 years and loves it, he has offered to sponsor me (which would be great) but my question is, What do I need to work? will we need Work permits? do I need to find a Truck driving job with LMIA? Will he be able to spnsor both of us?
We lived in the canary islands for 10 years and are used to different cultures and addapting to different ways of life. Our children have now flown the nest and we would like a challenge. Any advise would be greatly appreciated, as you can probably tell, I know nothing at the moment.
Thanks in advance

Hi, welcome to BE.
Just checking, but you are your brother's only living relative? As that's the only way he can sponsor you, unfortunately siblings can't be sponsored unless they are the only relative of the sponsor.
I'm going to move this to the Canadian immi section of the forum as it's not about trucking per se, hopefully you'll get some good advice there and can ask any questions about the visa side of things.
Best of luck.
