Good Morning,

For a number of weeks now I have been periodically checking the processing times tool on the CIC page for Work Permit application processing times.
It says that it is updated weekly however for the last two weeks it says it is currently working on applications received on August 17th and hasnt been refreshed since Nov 3rd.

I presume this is normal??

2- application approved.

Hey there, sorry to piggyback on this, but how do you know which application date they're looking at?

I can only see the number of weeks?

Depends on the type of application, for some they give you the date, for other it's just the weeks.

Remember though that it's all an average i.e. if it says 6 weeks then that's the average processing time, others will take longer, so don't panic if yours has taken longer than that.

Mine has taken a lot longer...we're up to nearly 4 months now...

When you click the processing times tool you will see the average processing time of the application you have selected and where you have applied from as Christmas has said.
Further on down you should see the date of the applications received which CIC are currently processing and when that information was last updated.

As I said earlier in the week the current permit I am applying for hasnt been updated since the 3rd of Nov and they are only working on applications received in August.
