No I haven't. Have you?
I was afraid that it would annoy the CIC officer if I order too many times.
Cheers,

Bubbleface...i think you should wait bit more. you can look at my signature that i am also waiting and not planning to apply for CAIPS before Dec(if nothing comes by then) because in my last caips in June 2005 it says waiting for backgrnd chk. so whats the point to bother them.

Yes I plan to order the CAIPS notes before the year end, if PPR doesn't come before then.
Nothing much I can do except waiting....
Best of luck!

Re: Anyone recently got PPR from Buffalo
After CIC received my RCMP background check, things moved pretty quickly. By February, I had submitted everything that was requested. CIC didn't ask for a background check for Canada, so at the time I did not send one.
Just to be on the safe side - i applied for an RCMP background check at the end of April and 3 months later I started to see changes to EClient (e.g., medicals received, decision made). See timeline below:
May 2004 - AOR
Dec 2004 - IA
Dec 2005 - Medical exam
Feb 2005 - Sent Additional Docs
April 2005 - sent application for background check to RCMP (even though CIC only requested a background check from HK)
8 Aug 2005 - EClient changed to medicals received
18 Aug 2005 - received PPR
13 Sept 2005 - received PR visa
So hang in there everyone - EClient does change and things do start to happen - it's a miracle i know. Just make sure that all documents have been sent - especially background checks.
Best of luck,
Subi

What is the date printed on your PPR and on what date was it posted from Buffalo?
It has been 15 days for me after the e-client changed to medicals but no PPR yet .

If you are Muslim or Arabic person or both, then it will take forever to get approved based on all of posting I found on the web. And It does not matter what is your qualifications or points you have.
It is about your race and religion
Good luck

Re: Anyone recently got PPR from Buffalo
Have been visiting this site on and off for the last 15 months now .. Here is my timeline:
AOR - June 2004
IA/Medicals/Doc Rqst - May 2005
Completed Meds - May 2005 (also received by Ottawa)
Docs Sent - June 2005
PPR - ???
PR - ???
I am in Canada though for the last 2 yrs as a student and will remain here until 2007 - on a work permit However, traveling is a pain and I hope I get it soon. Its over 4 months since medicals were completed. Some of my friends who applied in Dec 2003/Jan 2004 have received their PR in 11 months from the data of processing.
