Advice Needed. Can I accept new job?
Hi everyone, First time poster. Really need some advice on visa's and PR.
I am currently on a working holiday visa which expires Jan 2018. I am applying for Permanent residency (CEC) and am going to apply for a bridging visa as I doubt my PR will come through before my current visa expires. I have just been offered the job of my dreams which would start in Jan 2018.
Can I accept a new job at this point considering I am applying for PR using a years work experience under a different NOC code to the job I would be going into? Can I start a new job whilst being on 'implied status' waiting for my bridging visa to be accepted?
Very confused at the moment, any help or advice is most welcome.
Thanks so much!

At the moment you are on the IEC open work permit so you can take that job and begin working tomorrow. Once you get the BOWP work permit then you can carry on. If no BOWP by Jan 2018 then you must stop working until you either get the BOWP open work permit or have been granted PR status.
