The 2011 FSW timeline club
As of today, there are 6205 total complete applications received since July 1, 2011'
I know it's not a race (much,) but it would be good to see how everyone is doing so far.
We were later starters, not applying till end of November, so we've had nothing back yet.
How about you early birds who applied July 1st?

Hope you get good news soon Dave. We are hoping to send off our application at the start of Feb. however I have checked the latest application figures for social workers and it is up to 339! So it is getting near the 500 mark! Hopefully we will get application sent in time!
Best of luck to everyone else who is applying via this route!
John

Hi Dave,
good on you for starting this thread. Our application was re-sent in Aug11 & our immigration consultant told us the good news yesterday that we'd cleared the 1st hurdle & rec'd our PER so now the wait begins....
to us all & here's hoping that you receive your PER's soon

Some folk have been fortunate enough to get them back quickly but realistically speaking this acknowledgement can take a few months before you're sent anything. Chin up though we'll all pull together.

All sorts of ideas go through your head while you're waiting...
Did they get it
Have they opened it
Has it fallen down the back of a desk
Did I send it to the right place
If they do have it, is it now at the bottom of the pile under all the new one's that came in?
I think sammie might have been unlucky and got caught up in the new cap opening rush where everyone sent thier apps at the same time.
We just have to wait.

Re: The 2011 FSW timeline club
Our FSW1 applicaition also landed on 25.11.11. Really wanting any news at all soon (but it sounds unlikely) as desperate to get out of where we're currently living (Christchurch, NZ, over 9500 e/quakes in last 16 months, another big batch over xmas so really really had enough!). Our local visa office is sydney, australia, so will see if that makes it any quicker once it gets to that stage. Just hoping for a lot of luck so that we can get there by early Sept for the kids to start new school year - know it's unlikely, but it's so disruptive for them all to have to change continents and education systems, and will be even worse mid-year. If not, will hope by Christmas so they can finish school year here. And if not then, not sure what we'll do as my son will already be over 14 and relectant to move educn systems so late.
Fingers crossed that 25th November is a lucky date!

Heading to Calgary. Was actually our original choice 7 years ago when we left uk, but then for various reasons ended up coming out here for '2 years', but loved it so stayed 'for good'.

Re: The 2011 FSW timeline club
Credit card has been charged!
So, does anyone know what that actually means?
Have Sydney looked at our documents and decided that things like fitting the NOC list is ok etc, or does it just mean they've checked our list of docs against what we have sent?
Do they still need to do a lot of admin before the package gets sent to London?
