It was a pleasure speaking to you earlier. As discussed, you do qualify for the Federal Skilled Workers Visa with 72 points. The Federal Skilled Workers Visa is a Permanent Residency Visa which allows you and your family to live and work over there for as long as you want. After 3 years, if you wanted you could apply for a Canadian Citizenship. It means you can live and work wherever you choose and you are all entitled to the healthcare, education and welfare state.



The Canadian Government does want to make sure for the first year you are over there you won’t have to rely on them so they ask to see proof of funds either in equity in property or land (here or overseas) or on a bank statement for just 28days. For a family of 2 the amount will be £8671.



As a company we provide you with a case worker, legal advisor, and solicitor. We also place you on a global mobility scheme to help you find work. We fully complete your visa application for you. As you can probably imagine there has to be a charge for this. Here is a breakdown of our fee structure.



Company Fee: £1500 + VAT



Initially you pay £500 start your application of. The rest of the £1300 is due to be paid in two instalments (£650 each) within a period of 60 days. If you pay the full £1500 payment the VAT will be waivered of.



Processing time For Visa: 6-9 months.



As discussed there is limited availability with this visa as the Canadian government are only allowing 500 mechanic trades in from across the world. These spaces are running out very quickly. It is strictly on a first come first served basis. The first payment of £500 will begin your application immediately.

CIC have already reached (with the applications still in hand and waiting to be processed) the 10,000 cap on FSW1 applications for this year and this will be reset on 1st July. As of that date they may also change "the list" and you will have to wait and see if either your or your husbands' occupation is on it.

It would, IMO, be pointless to make an application at this time under FSW1.

You should also look at the Nova Scotia PNP program http://novascotiaimmigration.ca/immi...skilled-worker although a skilled worker must have a full-time, permanent job offer from a Nova Scotia employer before submitting an application to the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP).

Have done they seem legit it's F201000057 and they part of clear vision operations

That is Clear vision operations Ltd. regulated by the OISC, ref no F201000057. which is the UK regulatory body not the membership number for the Canadian regulatory body CRCIC.

Ask them specifically if they are registered to represent you under Canadian regulations and what is the name and membership number of the Partner or Employee who is registered.

The Government of Canada will not deal with non-authorized immigration representatives who charge for their services.

I had to laugh at this on the cityvisas website:

"We have built up a breast of knowledge within immigration and are widely recognised as the global leader and bench mark in terms of giving quality, just, effective immigration advice. "

Really? You want to use them?

EDIT: Mr. Gurdip Aulakh is listed on CityVisa's website as their Head of Immigration Officer (see under terms of service, complaints). He is registered with ICCRC, but that doesn't mean he will be the one dealing with your application. You should also read carefully the terms of service.

Hi we just getting options at the moment if we went on a working holiday visa is it possible to then get granted both me and partner temp work permits? Has anyone got this or have experience of this

IMHO you shouldn't be asking them anything. They have so many errors on their website I wouldn't be trusting them to complete government forms for me.

Have you looked at the forms etc on CIC's website? Have you read the application guides there? Have you read the wiki?

Before you think about going to a consultant you should ascertain that you have the experience, monetary funds, IELTS abilities and education that are required by CIC... it's not just about the points!

If you are determined to use a consultant there have been several recommendations on this site - I would suggest looking at them first.

It would be far simpler if you could stick to one thread with all your questions rather than all the many different ones you are posting.

Anyway, in answer to your question (and you really should read the wiki).. if you come over on a WHV and obtain a job then theoretically you can see if your employer (or another employer) would be willing to obtain a Labour Market Opinion (LMO) which would enable you to apply for a TWP. You can read what they would need to do in the wiki.

Alternatively, once you were in Canada, if you were able to find an employer that would be willing to offer you a full time permanent job and/or you have worked for them for 6 months, dependent on which Province you are in, you may be able to apply for a TWP and PR under a PNP program.

Some provinces will allow the 'spouse or partner' an open work permit on the back of the main applicants TWP, others will not or else it may be restricted depending on the occupation of the principal applicant.
