No, from anywhere! Loads of people on this thread are probably already in Canada on their first visa, and planning on applying for their second.

Not until you get PR, unless you can get a TWP in your own right. But realistically getting a LMO is going to be nigh on impossible as a 21 year old without much work experience, unless you have specialist skills.

I think it's really bad also. I mean, they didn't just decide five minutes ago that they werent going to be opening it on time, they must have made this decision a couple of if not more days ago yet they couldnt be bothered to spend the 10 minutes it would take to update the website and thus have kept hundreds of people waiting at their computers completely unnecessarily.... someone even mentioned taking the day off work......

PAGE UPDATED! No Date now! AGH

"Please note that the 2013 IEC initiative has not yet opened for applications. More information on the online process will be made available on this website. Stay tuned!"

International Experience Canada’s (IEC’s) application process for 2013 will be entirely online. It will be split into two stages:

program eligibility assessment (using a IEC-Kompass account); and
work permit assessment (using a MyCIC account).

When you have successfully completed the first stage using your IEC-Kompass account, you will receive a letter from Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada indicating conditional acceptance to the IEC program. You will then be asked to upload a “Conditional acceptance letter” to your MyCIC account in order for Citizenship and Immigration Canada to complete the second stage of the application process"

I hate waiting!!!!!!!!!!!! Not even a new date! It could be any time any when! I dont want to miss out if they go fast like the Irish!
