Hi am looking for any advice or info on the best mobile phone provider & or sim cards. Have seen that T mobile is meant to be the best ?

I had T mobile before. Poor coverage where I am in Zala. Customer serviz? Well lets say nothing.

Using Vodafone now. In fact and not because I like them, I have a UK sim as well as a Hungarian sim in my phone at the same time, and both happen to be Vodafone, at the moment.
With Vodafone Europezone you supposed to pay no more than what you would in your "home country" whilst out and about in the various countries listed by Vodafone as there are now no roaming charges.

I keep my Hungarian number simple because when asked for you phone number when you start trotting out +44 etc to the person asking they seem to have a sudden nose bleed. So its just easier to give them a Hungarian number.

Cost wise, IMHO they all extortionate.

IMO it depends who gives best coverage in your area and which provider is used by the people you phone most. (calls to numbers on the same provider are cheaper) Big savings can be made by choosing the right package that suits your needs.

Regards Roaming, the EU got upset about the amount charged by the phone companies when people went abroad so now e.g. if you have a Hungarian number and you go abroad it costs the same as if you were in Hungary, however if you call another country then its an international call. So if you are in England with your Hungarian phone and you call an English number then its an international call.

Also note that all companies (unless you have a business) will charge you per minute, not per second!

Personally, I like Vodafone. They're far from perfect and we've had a few run-ins over the years but we've stuck with them for more than 10 years. I wouldn't touch Tmobile with a barge pole.
