Internet Cafes?

Internet Cafes?
When I was touring France I found it difficult to get internet access. I did use the free Wifi with my laptop a couple of times in Macdonalds and I found an internet cafe in Limoges. The snag with Macdonalds was there were no power sockets and my laptop battery quickly goes flat. In contrast, when I've been to Bulgaria I've found loads of internet cafes, I suppose a lot of people there can't get or afford broadband in their homes.
I wondered what the situation is in Hungary? I did wonder if there's a way of getting mobile broadband using a dongle but it would be easier if there are internet cafes I could use.

I can't speak for other parts of Hungary but in Sarvar there's a few or at least places that offer Wifi.
One thing that I find amazing here is that nearly every one with a Wifi connection in this area, and there's loads, are unsecure and anyone is able to log onto them.
Although I pay for my own internet at home I could actually get online free Via any one of my two neighbors connections.

Internet cafes can be found in all towns and even most villages have internet access; usually in the mayors office or library. Also many cafes and restaurants in the villages offer wifi (though not free). Dongles can be purchased but aren't cheap. I forgot, McDonald's here have internet access, instead of free wifi they now have pc's at 100ft for 20 mins (I discovered this when trying to "borrow" there wifi the other week)

Interesting. I don't mind paying, so that could be a good option, as long as there's no obligation to buy a Big Mac or whatever! In New Zealand I found Macdonalds was the cheapest place to buy an ice cream. Do you know if the Hungarians use the qwerty keyboard? When I went to internet cafes in Bulgaria I had to ask for a Roman alphabet keyboard but even then some of them had the letters worn off the keys and I don't touch type.
