PIO / OCI on death of a spouse?
Urgent please🙏
Can a UK national who obtained their PIO/OCI status by marriage, purchase ANOTHER property or vehicle in their OWN name even AFTER their Indian spouse passed away?
Thanks

I presume if there are children of the marriage who have OCI---property could be purchased in their name!

Thanks Bipat for your fast response 🙏
I am trying to save a Brit couple over here from a costly purchase being made by them in the name of a UK Citizen whose OCI partner passed away a few years ago, this person is doing in good faith but I feel blind faith🤔. There are no children for inheritance by the UK OCI. I am sure the law says the surving OCI person cannot purchase ANY further moveable property in their name once the Indian spouse has expired, similar to the divorce situ but I can't find anything defo on the Indian portals, only 'grey' areas as you say🤔🤔🤔
Hope you are well as I don't post as much as years gone by🙏

I am well --except for lack of self discipline leading to my arguing on this Forum!!!!!
