We only get one day holiday here and it seems to be generally Deepavali rather than Diwali. Not sure why that is.

Both words mean the same. Didn't expect banks to be closed today. Probably stretching the holiday!!!
We have put the lights up and (Celebrating today with wine not really traditional----never mind )
