This was a gang-related turf war that got out of control and resulted in a Nigerian man being killed. The police made to take the body to the morgue and the hearse was halted outside O Coqeiro, a demonstration by Nigerian men on bikes surrounded the hearse and blocked the traffic. One of them removed the body from the hearse and placed it on the road, a kind of a protest. Locals gathered, further scuffles ensued, the police stood by. It then became a diplomatic incident...
