Problems with cars-MOT.Have been in Germany sins November M.O.T ran out in January 15.Tax ran out in 31 01 20014.Do l have to get road tax for 3 monts to get the M.O.T to returnto Germany? I do not lntend to stay in UK.My idea was-go to first avelible M.O.T place(dover),get it and return on the next ferry.If necessery paying road tax for minimum period.
Has anybody got experience, ideas, bearing in mind that registering the car in Germany is a financial no-go(age, value)
P.S.Need Brit.Reg.No cos I am towing british caravan?

If you want to live in Germany, then your car has to have a German registration. You can only drive your British car for a limited time here, then you have to import it. If your car is not worth importing, then I suggest you sell it in the UK and get a car here. I dont know about registering caravans, but I imagine you can re-register that here. The car and caravan will have to have the same number plate.
