Hi,
I hope I've posted in the appropriate forum. I moved to Lubeck 3 years ago and during this time rented out my house in the UK. I've now decided to sell up in the UK to buy a place in Germany. I wasn't planning on staying in Germany but my circumstances have changed.
Does anyone know what the tax situation would be with regard to the UK taxman ?

Well if all things are equal in the EU, you won't have an issue with the UK tax man as you are now a German tax resident. In fact you should have been paying tax in Germany from 180 days into your residence there I believe
